
Life and Fork is a local company that is now working in partnership with The Millhouse Bar and Restaurant at Skidby. It started in the kitchen of its founder Juliet, a local nutritional therapist, when her clients were failing to keep up their good intentions because time got in the way of maintaining a healthy, nutritious diet.
Frustrated that clients were seeing vast improvements only in the short term because maintaining an optimum diet was taking up too much time, she began to create the meals these clients should be eating and delivering them to their door so they could not fail to benefit.
As demand grew for the service, Juliet and Marco got together and discussed the possibility of using the expertise of the Millhouse kitchens to prepare the nutritionally balanced meals on a larger scale. And what started out as food for thought, has now become a reality.
To showcase the food and the different packages available, The Millhouse are holding tasting events where you can come along to try the food, find out more about it and give us your feedback and comments.
Its a completely informal event, the bar will be open and you can come and go as you please. We are holding the event over three sessions:
Wednesday, 3rd February between 1pm and 3pm
Wednesday, 10th February between 5pm and 9pm
Wednesday, 17th February between 5pm and 9pm
